Day temperature may fall by 1-2°C

Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) on Tuesday predicted Day temperature may fall by 1-2 degrees Celsius and night temperature may fall slightly over the country.
The Met Office also forecasted that many places over the country are likely to experience light to moderate rain or thundershowers in the next 24 hours commencing at 9 am today.
"Light to moderate rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at most places over Dhaka, Mymensingh, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions and at many places over Rangpur, Rajshahi and Khulna divisions with moderately heavy to heavy falls at places over the country," said a Met Office bulletin issued this morning.
Meanwhile, a mild heat wave is sweeping over the regions of Faridpur, Rajshahi, Pabna, Sirajgonj & kushtia and it may abate, the bulletin said.
As an outlook for next 72 hours, the BMD predicted: "Rainfall activity is likely to continue."
