Day temp to fall by (1-2)°C, night temp likely to rise

The day temperature may fall by (1-2)°C in some places over the country while night temperature may rise slightly over the country in the next 24 hours ending tomorrow at 9:00 am.
The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) said this in a weather bulletin issued on Sunday morning.
The BMD weather bulletin forecasted — the weather may remain mainly dry with a partly cloudy sky over the country during the period.
“The day temperature may fall by (1-2)°C over Barishal and Chattogram divisions and it may remain nearly unchanged elsewhere over the country,” the Met Office said.
The mild to moderate heatwave, meanwhile, s sweeping over Barishal and Chattogram divisions and the regions of Dhaka, Madaripur, Gopalgonj, Sylhet, Rajshahi, Pabna, Khulna, Bagerhat, Jashore and Kushtia may abate from some places.
A trough of low has been lying over West Bengal and adjoining area. So, the seasonal low has lied over South Bay, the weather bulletin further said.
“ Rain or thundershowers is likely to occur within 72 hours or three days,” the Met Office added.
The country’s maximum temperature was recorded 38.5°C yesterday at Sitakunda and Rangamati of Chattogram division while today’s minimum temperature was recorded 15.3°C at Srimangal in Sylhet division.
Today’s sunset will be at 6:13 pm and tomorrow’s sunrise will be at 5:54 am.
