The Dhaka University authority today unveiled identities of 63 students, who were expelled for their involvement in admission test forgery, drug abuse and possessing illegal arms.

The list was released from the university's exam regulatory office on Tuesday afternoon.

The decision to permanently expel these students was decided on January 30 at a meeting of the university's highest policy-makers’ forum.

However, it was alleged that Proctor was unwilling to disclose the identity of the students.

DUCSU member Tanvir Hassan Saikat visited the Proctor's office on Monday to find out why their identity was not being disclosed even after the Vice-Chancellor expressed a positive attitude towards expulsion. At that time, he gave proctor. AKM Golam Rabbani a 5-day deadline to disclose their name. The identity of the expelled students was unveiled after one day of the deadline.
