DU to expel 15 students

Disciplinary Council of Dhaka University (DU) has recommended 15 students to expel for being admitted by fraud on Thursday.
This recommendation was made at a meeting of the council.
University Vice-Chancellor Akhtaruzzaman confirmed the matter at noon after the meeting of the council. He said this recommendation will be implemented in syndicate meeting.
This 15 students of different departments were admitted to the university through fraud in 2016. Proctor Golam Rabbani said, the recommendations of the disciplinary council is final. This will be formally implemented.
He said that fraud has been proved by the investigation of the crime investigation department (CID), media and university.
