DU students to stage demo tomorrow

Dhaka University students' movement for the cancellation of DU affiliation of seven colleges has halted for today and they will start demonastration from tomorrow.

It is said from the protester that they will start the movement again from 7am on Monday. In the meantime, university administration has been broken down the locks of various building.

Movement spokesman Shakil Ahmed announced the suspension of the movement around 1:30pm on Sunday.

"The program would be resumed from 7am tomorrow. The buildings which are locked will remain existent. And the buildings that were not locked tomorrow will also be locked. The boycott of class and examination will continue", said Shakil Ahmed.

On the other hand, the university administration does not communicate with agitators still now. Shakil Ahmed expressed acute anger for that.

It has been known that university staff has broken the locks by the order of administration.

University Proctor Golam Rabbani said, "claimed can not fulfill by vandalism, obstruction of examinations, harming to one student by another. Now there is DAKSU, there is a discussion table. They have to raise their demand obeying the rules.
