DU admission application starts from Mar 8

The online application for admission in different departments of Dhaka University (DU) will start from March 8 and will continue till March 31. The admission test will start from May 21 to June 5.

The decision was taken at a meeting of the admission committee of Dhaka University on Thursday. Vice-Chancellor (VC) of the DU Professor Akhtaruzzaman presided over the meeting. 

After the meeting, Dean of the Faculty of Sociology Professor Sadeka Halim told the media that the admission test of ‘Ka’ unit of DU will be held on May 21, ‘Kha’ unit on May 22, ‘Ga’ unit on May 27, ‘Dha’ unit on May 28 and ‘Cha’ unit on June 5.

“This year, the admission test will be held in 120 number. Of these - 40 are written and 60 are multiple-choice (MCQ). There will be 20 marks evaluation on SSC and HSC results,” she said.

Earlier, the Deans Committee had proposed to start the admission test on May 21. The proposal was made at a meeting of the committee on Tuesday.
