DSHE instructs to complete admission in govt schools by Jan 20

Students selected in government schools through digital lottery have to complete the admission process by January 20. Those selected from the waiting list have to complete the admission between 21 to 25 January. The Directorate of Secondary & Higher Education (DSHE) has instructed to complete all the admission activities within this period after verifying the quota and all other papers.
The DSHE sent a letter to all government schools in the country with this instruction on Thursday.
The letter stated that as per the lottery results, the students selected in educational institutions will have to complete the admission process in government schools by January 20 after verifying the original birth registration certificate, freedom fighter certificate in case of freedom fighter quota and reserved quota. The students selected from the waiting list will have to complete the admission from January 21 to January 25.
It is to be mentioned that more than 5.73 lakh students applied for admission against 77,140 vacant seats in government schools. A lottery for admission of students was held in government schools on January 11.
