DSCC Mayor requests Dhaka leavers to return after lockdown

Barrister Sheikh Fazle Noor Taposh, Mayor of Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC), has requested the people who left Dhaka to celebrate Eid with their families to return after lifting the lockdown ban.
He made the request while exchanging Eid greetings with media personnel after the first Eid Jamaat at Baitul Mukarram National Mosque in the capital on Friday morning.
”After a long month of fasting, we are celebrating Eid-ul-Fitr today,” Taposh said. “I wish the people of Dhaka and the people of the country, including the President and the Prime Minister, a happy Eid-ul-Fitr. Eid Mubarak.”
“We are celebrating Eid amid Covid-19 pandemic,” he also said, adding all to be healthy, safe and follow the hygiene rules.
RAJUK Chairman ABM Amin Ullah Nuri, Dhaka Metropolitan South Awami League Joint General Secretary Kazi Morshed Hossain Kamal, DSCC Secretary Akramuzzaman among others were present at the occasion.
