Cyclone ‘Bulbul’: 10 injured after 7 houses collapsed in Bhola

Ten people have been injured with the devastation of seven houses in the different upazilas of Bhola in the storm affected by cyclone 'Bulbul'.

The incident took place at 9:30 pm on Saturday night in Paschimchar Umed of Lalmohan and Osmanganj UP in Charfashion. Three of the injured were identified. They were Abdul Rashid Mal, his sons Imran and Tishan, residents of the Paschimchar Umed.

Md. Ibrahim, resident of the area, said that at 9:30 pm, lurid sound was heard during the storm. Within a moment, two houses including Rashid Mal were destroyed. At that time the plants of the houses also uprooted.

He also said that at the same time, the house of Abdul Mottaleb and his sons Mamun and Bilal of Osmanganj UP of Charfashion area were destroyed in the same area. Besides, the house of Abdul Manaf of the neighbor house was also demolished.

On the other hand, at least five people were injured in the cyclone in the Charpairimohan area of Lord Haddinge UP in Lalamohani though the injured were not yet identified. 

Habibul Hasan Rumi, UNO of Lalamohan, said that a person has been injured due to the falling down of the tree in the Lord Haddinge UP though he has not received the others news yet.
