Kamrul Hasan Chowdhury (Fahim) who was once known as ‘cycle Fahim’ of Muhammadpur in the city for his indomitable effort for two-wheeler stunt, is now a world-class bike stunter. He does various stunts with a motorcycle just out of thrill. He is now a star among the country's bike stunters too. He is also a source of inspiration to many. Fahim is dreaming of this small happy news. Now he wants to take part in the World Motorbike Stunt Championship. Motorcycle stunt championships are held in different countries of the world. He wants to represent Bangladesh in those events.

But there is a long story behind the bicycle Fahim coming to this stage. The star biker has recently talked to Daily Bangladesh to give a brief account of it.

In 2015, I knew you as Cycle Fahim. I would like to know the story of the beginning of cycling stunts first-

Kamrul Hasan Chowdhury: We opened a bicycle stunt group in Mohammadpur with three friends. I give the name 'Mohammadpur Cycle Vipers'. Gradually the number of our members continued to grow. We used to do stunts in different places on different days. Since then, my fame has been growing as Cycle Fahim. Many people used to scold us by watching our bi-cycle exercises. I also got a rogue badge for doing bicycle stunts. But our motives were honest. We knew what our plan was!

Then you started a new chapter with bikes. How was that? And did thought yet that you would get so much popularity?

Kamrul Hasan Chowdhury: There is a tragic story behind this. We still did bicycle stunts; My friend Rakib used to do bike stunts then very well. We lost him at that time. From then on, I, my friend and my younger and older brothers started bike stunts to fulfill his dream. It was the beginning.

Of course, it has taken a lot of hard work and effort to become a star biker. If you say a little in that context ...

Kamrul Hasan Chowdhury: I do various stunts with a motorcycle out of excitement. But I have not succeeded yet. Maybe, to many of you, I am a star stunter. But we have not cared like that everywhere. It may take more time in Bangladesh. But it is possible if you are on our side. Then we can claim ourselves successful.

You are master in all the difficult stunts like Wheelie, Stoppie, Rolling Stoppie, Chainsaw, Burnout, Skitch Stoppie, Highchair, Human Compass, Suicide Fire Burn Out, Donuts, etc.; People are shocked seeing that and clap. How do you feel when the people around you are so encouraging?

Kamrul Hasan Chowdhury: I like this very much. I get a little peace for them. But it feels bad to see so many people on the street, because they are in trouble. I hope that one day I will be able to do stunts in the streets of Dhaka with ease. Then the fans or others will not suffer.

However, a section of the society still looks at the bike riders with bitter eyes. It is, of course, more in the countryside. What is your opinion in this regard? Or what do you mean by that?

Kamrul Hasan Chowdhury: Maybe they don't know the matter well, so they look at it with bitter eyes. If they knew about our background or family, they might not think so. But yes, there is a part that works grouping or lame in the street.

What advice would you give to those who want to learn bike stunts?

Kamrul Hasan Chowdhury: I will tell, Safety First. This requires good quality helmets and safety guards. Then continue to develop slowly. Inshallah success will come.

What are your future plans with bike stunts?

Kamrul Hasan Chowdhury: I really want to go to Poland, it is not possible. But what if I want to dream about Bangladesh replacing Poland? You will tell, because I have come so far because of you.
