Cumilla BCL leader shot dead

A local leader of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) was shot to death in Shambokshi area in Cumilla city on Monday night.
The deceased was identified as Delowar Hossain, 45, former organizing secretary of Cumilla South District Chhatra League. He was a councilor candidate of ward 26 in the last city corporation elections.
Locals said that some unidentified miscreants opened fire on Delwar Hossain's head in the night. Later, he was taken to Cumilla Medical College Hospital, where The doctors declared him dead.
Cumilla Sadar South Police Station OC (Investigation) Kamal Krishna Dhar confirmed the matter to Daily Bangladesh.
