Juventus will take on the field against the Italian Football League Serie A SPAL on Saturday (February 22) night. With this match, the five times Ballon d'Or winner may make his 1,000th professional appearance against the Serie A strugglers.

Ronaldo first came into the limelight about 18 years ago in 2002 credit to Portuguese club Sporting Lisbon jersey. In a two-decade career, he played the English Premier League of England, La Liga in Spain, and now fielding Italy's Sere A.

Ronaldo has played 835 games in club football and featured 164 times on the international stage, and is set to achieve the impressive figure as Juventus continue their bid for domestic glory.

In addition, the Portuguese forward has scored 724 goals in his long career in international and club stages.

English goalkeeper Peter Shelton was the first to the 1000-match club list. In addition, Iker Cassius, Paulo Maldini, Gianluigi Buffon, Frank Lampard, Roberto Carlos, Ryan Giggs also touched milestone. Ronaldo will be named as the 30th Footballer on this list.
