Covid-19 cases in India exceed 26,000 in a day

The pandemic coronavirus infection is on the rise in India. Coronavirus identification records are being broken almost every day in the country. In the last 24 hours, more than 26,000 people have been infected with coronavirus in the country.
According to the Ministry of Health, 26,506 new cases of coronavirus have been reported in the country in the last 24 hours, increasing the tally of infection to 7,93,802. Besides, 475 people died on the same day, raising the death toll to 21,604.
Maharashtra is one of the most affected states in the country. So far, more than 230,000 people have been infected with coronavirus there. The total loss of life is 9,667 in the state. Tamil Nadu is second only to following Maharashtra in the number of victims. The number of victims in this southern state is 126,581 and the death toll 1,765.
Then the capital of Delhi is in the third place, the number of victims has 107,051 and 3,258 people have died there.
Meanwhile, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and West Bengal have again declared lockdown as the infection continues on the rise. In Uttar Pradesh, the ban is in place from Friday night to Monday. The number of infections has exceeded 32,000 there. The number of identified patients in West Bengal has crossed 25,000 after announcing a one-week lockdown.
However, despite the increase in the number of cases in India, the recovery rate has also increased. In the last 24 hours, about 19,135 people have recovered from coronavirus infection. So far, more than 4.95 lakh people have recovered. In other words, 62.42 percent of the people have recovered.
