Bangladesh reported 20 more deaths from Covid-19 in the last 24 hours, bringing the tally from the pandemic to 27,674.
On the other hand, the total caseload stood at 15,61,878 as 415 more tested positive for the virus during the same time.
It was said in a press release signed by professor Nasima Sultana, Additional Director General (Administration), Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) on Saturday.
Among the 20 deceased, 12 are men and 8 are women. The current positivity rate is 2.45 percent while the total positivity rate is 15.73 percent.
A total of 16,925 samples were tested at 815 centers across the country in the last 24 hours.
In the past 24 hours, 543 patients recovered from the viral disease totaling the recovery to 15,23,134.
The DGHS statistics showed of the people infected from the beginning, 97.52 percent recovered, while 1.77 percent died.
