Covid-19: 15 die, 292 infected in 24 hours 

Fifteen more COVID-19 patients died in the last 24 hours, increasing the death toll from the pandemic to 8205 in the country. Earlier, 8 deaths related to COVID-19 were reported yesterday.

Besides, the tally of infections has surged to 5,38,062 as 292 new cases were confirmed in the last 24 hours. Meanwhile, 305 COVID patients were detected yesterday.  

Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) came up with the information in a press release on Sunday (February 7, 2021). 

According to the release, the recovery count rose to 483,372 after another 531 patients were discharged from the hospitals during the period. 

In the past 24 hours, 12,404 samples were tested across the country.

The first coronavirus death was reported in the country on March 18, ten days after the detection of the first COVID-19 cases.
