Councilor candidate`s brother killed in Patiya clash 

A man named Abdul Mabud was killed in a clash between two councilor candidates at Dakshin Gobindarkheel Government Primary School in Ward no. 8 of Patia in Chattogram today. The deceased is the younger brother of councilor candidate Abdul Mannan.

Clashes broke out between supporters of councilor candidate Sarwar Kamal and Abdul Mannan on Sunday afternoon which left Abdul Mannan's younger brother Abdul Mabud dead.

Patia Police Station OC (investigation) Minhajuddin said the man was stabbed to death.

Patia Upazila Health Officer. Jabed said Abdul Mabud was brought to the hospital dead. Apart from this, it is known from the hospital that a few more people are taking treatment in the incident of clash.
