Coronavirus kills over 581,000 lives

The global pandemic coronavirus has claimed more than 581,000 lives in the world. The international survey agency Worldometer reported the information.
According to the agency, the total number of deaths in coronavirus worldwide is 581,118 people. The virus has infected 13,454,451 people in the world so far. Besides, 7,846,427 people have recovered.
The virus, which was first detected in China, has so far infected 215 countries and territories around the world. The United States still tops the world in terms of both the number of victims and the number of deaths. A total of 3,545,077 people have been infected with coronavirus in the country so far. Of these, 139,143 people have died.
The Latin American country of Brazil is in second place in both lists of the dead and infection. A total of 74,262 people have died out of 1,931,204 coronavirus cases in the country.
The United Kingdom is in third place and at the top of Europe in terms of coronavirus death. The death toll in the country is 44,968. The total number of victims is 291,373 people.
In Mexico, 36,327people died and 311,486 people have been infected with the coronavirus. The death toll in Italy stands at 34,984. And a total of 243,344 people have been infected.
Besides, neighboring India worst affected by the coronavirus in Asia having 937,487 cases. While the country has recorded 24,315 deaths so far.
In December 2019, the coronavirus was spread from Wuhan, the capital of Hubei Province, China. In the country of origin of the virus, so far a total of 83,611 people have been infected. Of these, 4,634 people have died.
