Coronavirus death toll tops 8 lakh globally

The death toll from the global pandemic coronavirus has surpassed .8 million. The international survey agency Worldmeter reported.
According to the agency, the total number of deaths in Corona worldwide is 803,200 people. More than 23,117,813 people have been infected so far. Besides, more than 15,709,000 people have recovered.
The virus, which was identified in China first, has so far spread to 215 countries and territories around the world.
The United States still tops the list in terms of both infections and deaths. So far, a total of 5,796,727 people have been infected with coronavirus in the country. Of these, 179,200 people have died.
The Latin American country of Brazil is in second place in the list of the dead. A total of 113,454 people have died out of 3,536,488 cases in the country.
In third-place Mexico, the death toll from coronavirus infection has risen to 59,610. The total number of victims is 549,734 people.
In addition, the death toll in coronavirus ion India, the highest in Asia, has stood at 55,928. And 2,973,368 people have been infected. In the United Kingdom, which is at the top of Europe, 41,405 people have died out of 323,313 coronavirus cases.
In December 2019, the coronavirus was spread from Wuhan, the capital of Hubei Province, China. In the country of origin of the virus, so far 84,871 people have been infected. Of these, 4,634 people have died.
