Coronavirus death toll surpasses 388,000 globally

The total number of deaths from coronavirus across the world is 387,913 and a total of 6,567,913 people have been infected so far. Besides, 3,168,921 people have recovered, according to the international survey agency Worldometer.
The virus, which has spread from China, has so far infected 213 countries and territories around the world.
The United States is the most affected nation by the deadly coronavirus. So far, 1,901,783 people have infected with the virus and 109,142 have died in the country.
The United Kingdom has the second-highest number of deaths from coronavirus. So far, 39,728 people have died of coronavirus in the country while the number of infected is 279,856.
Italy has the third-highest number of deaths. So far, 33,601 people died of coronavirus in Italy out of 233,836 cases.
In Brazil, 32,568 people have died and 584,562 people have been infected with coronavirus so far. France has so far recorded 151,677 coronavirus cases while 29,021 people have died.
The coronavirus spread from Wuhan, the capital of Hubei Province, China in December 2019. The country of origin has so far infected 83,021 people. Of these, 4,634 people have died.
