Coronavirus: RpMC reports 50 new cases

50 more people have contracted COVID-19 in Rangpur, Lalmonirhat, Gaibandha, Kurigram and Panchagarh districts of Rangpur division. After testing 188 samples at Rangpur Medical College (RpMC) PCR lab they were reported positive on Monday.
Among the newly identified patients, nine are in Rangpur, 16 in Kurigram, 13 in Lalmonirhat, 11 in Gaibandha, and one in Panchagarh. The victims include doctors, police, nurses, government officials, and other men and women of different ages.
Confirming the matter on Monday night, RpMC Principal Professor Dr. A.K.M. Nurunnobi Lyzu said, the number of coronavirus infected cases in the Rangpur division are increasing day by day.
Rangpur Civil Surgeon Dr.Herombo Kumar Roy said the number of people infected with coronavirus in Rangpur district was 1,738. Among them, 1,340 people have recovered, and 31 died.
