Coronavirus: China-returnee student admitted to hospital

A China-returnee student was admitted to Habiganj Sadar Modern Hospital on suspicion of coronavirus in Habiganj. 

The doctors sent him to quarantine on Sunday evening. 

Raihan, son of Abdur Noor of Shayesta Nagar area. 

Habiganj Civil Surgeon Dr. Mostafizur Rahman said a China-returnee student had been admitted to the hospital on suspicion of the virus for treatment. In the meantime, his blood sample was kept. 

Then the sample will be sent to Dhaka for a quick test. Then it will be understood whether he is infected or not, he said.  

The civil surgeon also said that no patient with coronavirus had been found in Bangladesh yet. “There are no signs of that on him.” 

It is learned that Raihan, a student at a medical college in China, kept at Ashkona Haji Camp for 15 days after returning. Later, he came home with a clearance.
