Coronavirus: Another Bangladeshi dies in Spain

Another Bangladeshi has been reported died in Spain after suffering from a novel coronavirus taking the number of Bangladeshi people’s death in the country to two. His name is Zakir Haque alias Anwar Hossain, 67. He died under treatment in a hospital of Alcala de Henares city in the capital Madrid on Sunday afternoon.

According to Bangladesh Embassy sources, he was undergoing treatment at Kiren Salud Alcala de Henares Hospital after suffering from coronavirus. Zakir Haque was hailed from Shunaimuri in Noakhali district in Bangladesh. He had been living in Spain for a long time.

Earlier, another Bangladeshi died of coronavirus infection on March 26 in the city of Madrid. He too had been doing business there for a long time. Terror has increased among expatriate Bangladeshis in the country over the death of two Bangladeshis.

In the last 24 hours in Spain severely battered by coronavirus infection, four 674 more COVID-19 patients have died while 12,418 more people have been infected with the lethal virus in the country in a day.

Spain's Ministry of Health says the presence of coronavirus has been detected in more than 6,000 people in Spain over the past one day. The number of people infected in this country has exceeded 1 lakh 30 thousand.
