5,611 die in a day, 262,000 new infected globally

The whole world has been devastated by the novel coronavirus. Death and infections from the deadly virus are rising alarmingly. More than 262,000 people have been infected with coronavirus and the virus claimed 5,611 lives in the last 24 hours across the world.
According to worldometer, so far, 729,591 people have died from the deadly virus infection out of 19,805,292 coronavirus cases across the world. Of them, 12,721,850 have recovered.
The United States has seen 976, the highest number in the last 24 hours. The United States is the most affected nation by the deadly coronavirus having 5,149,723 people infected with the virus. Of these, 165,070 have died in the country.
After that, India was at the top of the death list. The country has seen 875 deaths in the last 24 hours. The death toll rose to 43,453. Besides, the number of coronavirus cases in the country has raised to 2,152,020 with more than 65,000 new infections in the last 24 hours.
Brazil witnesses 841 deaths in the last 24 hours. The death toll rose to 100,543. Besides, the number of coronavirus cases in the country has raised to 3,013,369 with more than 46,000 new infections in the last 24 hours.
The coronavirus was first detected in Wuhan, the capital of Hubei Province, China in December 2019. The virus, which has spread from China, has so far infected 215 countries and territories around the world.
