Coronavirus: 5,512 die in a day, 207,752 new infected globally

The whole world has been devastated by the novel coronavirus. Death and infections from the deadly virus are rising alarmingly. More than 207,000 people have been infected with coronavirus and the virus claimed 5512 lives in the last 24 hours across the world.
According to the global survey site worldometer, the death toll in the coronavirus infection has stood at 546,622 people and the number of infected people has reached 11,950,044. Besides, 6,895,290 people have recovered so far.
Brazil witnessed 1312 deaths, the highest number in the last 24 hours. The death toll rose to 66,868. Besides, with 48,584 new cases the number of coronavirus cases in the country rose to 1,674,655.
The United States has the highest number of deaths and cases. So far, with a total of 55,442 fresh cases 3,097,084 people have infected with the virus in the US. Of them, 133,972 have died while 1,354,863 have recovered.
480 people have died in Mexico on the last day. India, reported 23,135 new coronavirus cases in the last day, the 3rd worst affected nation by the coronavirus outbreak, as the country has recorded 743,481 coronavirus cases while the death toll has stood at 20,653.
The coronavirus was first detected in Wuhan, the capital of Hubei Province, China in December 2019. The virus, which has spread from China, has so far infected 215 countries and territories around the world.
