2 lakh new infected in a day, 4,847 more die globally

The whole world has been devastated by the novel coronavirus. Death and infections from the deadly virus are rising alarmingly. More than 200,000 people have been infected with coronavirus and the virus claimed 4,847 lives in the last 24 hours across the world.
According to worldometer, so far, 518,921 people have died from the deadly virus infection out of 10,802,849 coronavirus cases across the world. Of them, 5,938,954 have recovered.
Brazil witnesses 1,057 deaths, the highest number in the last 24 hours. The death toll rose to 60,713. Besides, the number of coronavirus cases in the country rose to 1,453,369.
The United States witnesses 776 deaths in the last 24 hours. The United States is the most affected nation by the deadly coronavirus having 2,779,953 people infected with the virus. Of these, 130,798 have died in the country.
The death toll rose to 28,510 after 648 people died in a single day in Mexico. Besides, the number of coronavirus cases in the country rose to 231,770.
After that, India reports more than 500 deaths in a single day. The total death toll rises to 17,848. A total of 605,220 infections reported in the country so far.
The coronavirus was first detected in Wuhan, the capital of Hubei Province, China in December 2019. The virus, which has spread from China, has so far infected 215 countries and territories around the world.
