Coronavirus: 3,731 die in a day, infections nearly 200,000

The world has witnessed nearly 200,000 coronavirus infections again as a total of 195,878 people have been infected with COVID-19 in the day globally while 3,731 more people have died of the virus.
According to the international survey agency WorldoMeter, a total of 575,525 have died across the world from the deadly virus and 13,235,760 have infected while 7,696,381have recovered so far.
Brazil witnesses, 770, the highest number of coronavirus deaths in the last 24 hours. The death toll rose to 72,921. Besides, the number of coronavirus cases in the country rose to 1,887,959 with new 21,783 cases reported in the last 24 hours.
After that, India was at the top of the death list on the day. The death toll has climbed to 23,727 with 540 new fatalities. The total number of cases has exceeded 907,000 with 28,189 new infections.
The United States, which is at the top of the list for coronavirus deaths and infections, has seen 465 deaths in the past 24 hours. The deadly virus claimed the lives of 138,247 people in the country so far. More than 3,479,000 people have tested positive for the disease.
276 COVID-19 patients have died in the last 24 hours in Mexico, raising the death toll to 35,491. Meanwhile, the death toll in Iran has risen to 13,032 with 203 new deaths in the last 24 hours. The total death toll in Pakistan is 5,266.
The coronavirus, that first reported in China late last year, is now affecting 215 countries and territories around the world and two international conveyances.
