The hearing of the charge sheet of the Rifat Sharif murder case was on Wednesday. There was extra security at the magistrate court premises of Barguna that day. A person wearing burqa has been seen taking pictures even in such security. Who was that person is the matter of debate now!

Minni’s father has expressed concern over his daughter's safety. Police security forces do not even know who this person is. However, eyewitnesses said that the person dressed burqa was not a woman. They said that no woman would come forward and take pictures like this, although she was wearing socks with the burqa. However, his appearance implies that he is a man.

Though the chargesheet hearing was supposed to be held on Wednesday morning, the hearing was delayed due to the original documents of the case being in the Barguna District and Sessions Judge Court. In this case, the Senior Judicial Magistrate Court Judge Md Sirajul Islam Gazi scheduled the hearing at 2:00 pm to hear the chargesheet.

Minni arrived at around 9:00 am with her father. She stayed in a courtroom with her father until the court proceedings began.

Journalists took photos after the court activities. General people also gathered there to see Minni. At that time, the person wearing burqa was taken photos of Minni. He even took photos of Minni with journalists.

No one can identify that person. Even local journalists and members of Minni’s family did not recognize the man. Police security personnel did not recognize also.

“We were not concerned about the matter at that time,” said Minni’s father. “The person took photos of Minni with the journalists. But that person didn’t seem like a woman.”

Former president of Barguna Press Club Hasanur Rahman Jhantu said, “I went to court on Wednesday for my professional duties. The man wearing a burqa looks like a religious woman. But the way he took Minni's pictures, it seems that he is not a woman.”

“We did not know the matter. We heard about the incident from reporters. We will inquire about that person,” said Abir Mohammad Hossain, officer-in-charge of Barguna Sadar Police Station, regarding the matter.
