Convicted accused in 21 August Grenade Attack case held

Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested a convicted accused in the 21 August Grenade Attack case in the capital.
He was arrested in a raid at the Diabari area in the capital on Monday night.
The convicted accused is identified as Iqbal Hossain.
Lieutenant Colonel Ashique Billah, director of RAB’s legal and media wing, confirmed the matter.
He said Iqbal Hossain, who was sentenced to life imprisonment in the 21 August Grenade Attack case, has been arrested from the Diabari area in the capital.
RAB Director General (DG) Chowdhury Abdullah Al Mamun will give details in this regard at a press conference organized at RAB Media Center at Karwan Bazar in the capital at 11:30 am, he added.
