Bahadurpur High School is a traditional educational institution in Nandail, Mymensingh. The school has been renowned for its quality education since its inception.

The school was established by Ataul Karim Chowdhury, a relative of the then Chief Minister Nurul Amin Khan at Kamalpur in the Upazila in 1952. Many students of this school are performing important duties in public-private institutions across the country.

But the quality of education has fallen since 2010. Bahadurpur High School is losing its reputation and tradition in a conflict of authority between its founder and donor members. Who will take over the management of the school? The decision was ultimately made up to the court but not resolved in a decade.

Meanwhile, the standard of study of the school has fallen. The pass rate in the SSC was 47 percent in 2019, in JSC it was 33 percent. The results of previous years are even more gracious.

The Head Master of Bahadurpur High School said that the number of students has decreased due to the establishment of numerous illegal schools in the neighborhood. The matter of the school management committee will be resolved in court. Bahadurpur High School will return to its fame after giving the responsibility of the committee in the hands of young, honest and talented persons.

Abdur Rahim Sujan, UNO of Nandail, said that necessary measures will be taken soon to restore the lost tradition of Bahadurpur High School.
