The boundary wall of Shaheed Abdur Rashid Degree Women's College of Nalitabari, situated in Nalitabari municipal town under Sherpur district has become very risky. It has now been kept standing on the bamboo poles. The wall may collapse at any time.
People of 10 villages, including two educational institutions and upazila post offices goers commute on the 200 feet boundary adjacent road with high risk of danger. A large number of accidents can happen if there is no provision to reform the boundary wall.
It is learnt that, Shaheed Abdur Rashid Women's Degree College was established in heart of the Nalitabari town in 1996. Few years later, the college authorities built a 200-feet-long border wall of 8 feet height beside the Taraganj Government High School Road. But the wall is now tilted as authority didn’t reform it for a long time. The wall has been kept standing on some bamboo poles.
