Cold wave sweeping over many regions

A mild cold wave is sweeping over the regions of Dinajpur, Saidpur, Nilphamari, Bogura, Naogaon and Srimangal and it may continue, Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) predicted on Sunday as an outlook for next 24 hours.  

The Met Office also forecasted that weather may remain dry over the country in the next 24 hours commencing at 9:00 am today. 

Besides, moderate to thick fog may occur over the country during midnight to morning and it may continue till noon at places over the northern part of the country. 

Meanwhile, night temperature may fall slightly over the southern part of the country and it may remain nearly unchanged elsewhere over the country. Day temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country. 

Country’s maximum temperature was recorded yesterday by 29.4 degree Celsius at Teknaf under Chattogram division while the minimum temperature today was 07.8 degree Celsius at Srimangal in Sylhet division.
