Cold wave sweeping over many regions; it may continue

Bangladesh Meteorological Department on Saturday predicted that a mild cold wave is sweeping over the regions of Rangamati, Srimangal and Panchagarh and it may continue.
The Met Office also forecasted that weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country in the next 24 hours commencing at 9:00 am today.
Besides, moderate to thick fog may occur over the country during midnight to morning.
Meanwhile, night and day temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
As an outlook for the next 72 hours, the Met Office predicted: "Night temperature may rise."
Country’s maximum temperature was recorded yesterday by 28.0 degrees Celsius at Sitakunda under Chattogram division and today's minimum temperature was recorded by 09.0 degrees Celsius at Srimangal under Sylhet division.
