Cold wave likely over conutry’s northwestern part

Bangladesh Meteorological Department on Wednesday predicted that mild clod wave is likely to sweep at places over the northwestern part of the country in the next 24 hours commencing at 9:00 am today.
The Met Office also forecasted that the weather is likely to remain dry over the country during the period.
Besides, moderate to thick fog may occur over the country during midnight to morning, said a Met office release this morning.
Meanwhile, night temperature may fall slightly and day temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
Country’s maximum temperature was recorded yesterday by 29.0 degree Celsius at Sitakunda under Chattogram division and the lowest temperature today was recorded by 09.0 degree Celsius at Rajarhat under Rangpur division.
Today’s sunset at Dhaka at 05.41 pm and tomorrow’s sunrise at Dhaka at 06.41 am.
