Cold wave hits life in Kurigram

In Kurigram the life of common people has become almost stagnant due to the cold climate. The frosty wind has increased the intensity of the cold. Fog is falling like rain on from Thursday morning. Most of the time of the day was covered with fog cloth. Even today the sun is not rises before 12pm.

For this Cold wave Elderly citizens, Women and children are the most affected. Seasonal diseases is seen. Farmers and Day laborers could not able to work in the field. 

Beggar Bayazid Ali at Sivaram village of Sadar upazila said most of the katha-pillows and beds were flooded has been floated. Although there is hard winter time he Did not get warm cloth. 

Day-laborer Abdul Majid and Rafiqul said farmers ‍are not able to Cultivate due to the cold and humid air. 

According to the District Relief Office, So far 57 thousands blankets have been allocated. Those are Delivering to the people.

Meteorological Center in Razarhat of Kurigram said, minimum temperature was recorded at 8 degrees Celsius.
