The cinematographer of numerous movies such as ‘Srabon Megher Din’, ‘Ghetuputra Komola’, ‘Aguner Poroshmoni’ - Mahfuzur Rahman Khan is now on the verge of death. He is currently on Life Support at Green Life Hospital in the capital. His condition is quite alarming. His family wants everyone’s prayer for his well-being. 

While eating dinner at his old Dhaka residence on Monday night, he got sick, family sources said. When there is bleeding with cough, the relatives brought him to the capital’s Green Life Hospital  

His condition is now quite alarming at the moment. He will undergo a CT scan on Tuesday if his condition improves, the duty doctors said.
Mahfuzur Rahman Khan was born on May 19, 1949, in a Benedi family at Hakim Habibur Rahman Road in Old Dhaka. As a professional cinematographer, he worked on his first film in 1972. He has worked with film directors like Alamgir Kabir, Alamgir Kumkum, Humayun Ahmed, Shibli Sadik.

He won the National Film Award nine times, Bacchus Award eight times, and Meril Prothom Alo Awards for one time in a special category.
