Cinematic accident on Dhaka-Mawa expressway, 7 cars crashed
The intensity of winter has increased in the country along with dense fog. Due to dense fog, seven vehicles were crashed at Sirajdikhan of Munshiganj on the Dhaka-Mawa Expressway. A car pushed another from behind thus 7 cars damaged, this is like a cinematic accident.
The accident took place at Kuchiamora area of Sirajdikhan upazila this morning. The vehicles involved in the accident include a truck, five private cars, a microbus, and a passenger bus of Aram Paribahan. Five people were injured. However, no casualties were reported.
Traffic on one side of the expressway was closed for a long time after the accident. The injured have been given first aid.
Locals said nothing was sighted in many parts of the expressway due to intense fog. At around 7:30 am, a truck heading towards Dhaka collided with a road safety fence as it could not visible due to foggy five private cars and a passenger bus hit one after another. The last private car in the accident was the most damaged. Five people were injured in this incident.
The condition of the injured is not serious. Because of the fog, the drivers were driving very slowly. So even if one car climbs on top of another, the cars twist. But passengers and drivers were not harmed.
Srinagar's Hasara Highway police said traffic on one side of the expressway was closed for a long time after the accident. Later, when the vehicles involved in the accident were removed, the traffic became normal.
