Chinese coronavirus detection kits loaded flight landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport
The second shipment of coronavirus medical equipment arrived Dhaka from Kunming, China this afternoon.
The special flight carrying the medical logistics landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport around 4 pm, said an official at the Chinese Embassy in Dhaka.
The Chinese embassy in Dhaka said that kits and medical equipment had arrived on special flights from Kunming City, China.
The medical logistics, including 10,000 testing kits, 10,000 personal protective equipment (PPE), 15,000 face masks and 1,000 infrared thermometers landed as the 2nd batch of medical logistics support from China.
Recently, the government's Economic Relations Department asked for medical help, including testing kits to China because there are not enough 'test kits' in Bangladesh. China responds positively and sent the second medical logistics shipment. They also providing coronavirus medical equipment to Italy and other countries.
