Chinese COVID-19 fighters due June 8

A Chinese medical expert team consisting of doctors, nurses, and technicians with remarkable success against coronavirus is set to come to Bangladesh on June 8 to help in coronavirus fight.
Chinese Embassy in Dhaka has confirmed the matter on Wednesday evening.
Deputy Chief of Mission and Counselor of the Chinese Embassy in Bangladesh said Chinese President Xi Jinping had a phone conversation with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on May 20 to intensify Bangladesh’s fight against the coronavirus epidemic. During the talks between the top leaders of the two countries, President Xi assured Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina to stand by Bangladesh as a true friend in the fight against coronavirus.
Since the outbreak of coronavirus in Bangladesh, China has taken a number of cooperative steps.
The medical team that will arrive on June 8 is organized by the Chinese National Health Commission, consists of 10 respiratory physicians selected by the Hainan Provincial Health Commission.
During their stay in Bangladesh for 2 weeks, the experts would visit designated hospitals, quarantine centers, and testing centers, discuss on the epidemics with Bangladeshi counterparts, and make calibrated propositions for containment and treatment.
