Iran is set to enter into a strategic partnership agreement with China to avoid US sanctions, including the boycott of dollar transactions in trade.
Ali Aka Mohammadi, an adviser to the country's top leader, recently confirmed this, according to Iran's local media, Pars Today.
He said the 25-year roadmap is more than an agreement. There is a specific issue in the agreement but this roadmap is more comprehensive.
Ali Aka Mohammadi said the roadmap of partnership would ensure economic and defense cooperation between the two countries without any third-party intervention. The agreement will protect the United States from sanctions against Iran and China and will increase defense cooperation between the two countries.
He added that the United States does not want sanctions on Iran and China to be lifted, but that the roadmap would thwart US sanctions. The signing of the agreement between Iran and China is expected to result in billions of dollars in Chinese investment in various Iranian projects, and US sanctions are expected to become meaningless.
