Chief of Army Staff receives Covid-19 vaccine

The Chief of Bangladesh Army Staff General Aziz Ahmed has received Covid-19 vaccine at Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in the capital today morning a day after his returning home from  an official visit to the United States of America. 

According to the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR),   the Army Chief urged people, after taking vaccine, not to believe in rumors  and take vaccine. 

At the time, Chief of Army Staff General Aziz Ahmed applauded the Prime Minister for making mass vaccination programme for the general public including members of the Army. 


In the first phase of the vaccination program, a total of 18,269 serving and retired military personnel and their families and other civilians were vaccinated in 26 vaccination centers till February 13, 2021.
