Chelsea-Man U fight unresolved with 0-0

Chelsea and Manchester United faced in a high voltage match in the English Premier League (EPL) on Sunday. Neither team was able to create too many chances in this match, on the other hand, no one was able to take advantage of the chances. As a result, the fight between the two teams ended unresolved.
No one was able to test the opposing goalkeeper in the first half at Stamford Bridge, Chelsea’s home ground. In the 14th minute, when Chelsea’s Callum Hudson-Odoi got the ball in the D-box, there was some excitement, however, the referee did not give the penalty with the help of VAR.
Olivier Giroud tried to dive head into the Hudson-Odoi cross in the 37th minute. But the French forward could not touch the head, instead, he was hit by the post and got injuries.
Chelsea could have gone ahead in the third minute of the second half. Attacking from the left, Ben Chilwell’s pass finds Hakim Ziyech in the D-box. The Moroccan midfielder’s shot was returned with great efficiency by David de Gea, the goalkeeper of Manchester United.
Man U got a great chance in the 61st minute but Scott McTominay’s shot from the Aaron Wan-Bissaka pass was not on target for a short while. No one was able to create a clear chance to score during the rest of the match. In the end, the two teams left the field in a goalless draw.
Manchester United is at number two with 50 points in 26 matches in the league. Chelsea is fifth in the table with 44 points after playing a draw match. Arsenal, who beat Leicester City 3-1 in the other match of the day, is in the top ten with 37 points. Leicester in third with 49 points. Manchester City is at the top with 72 points in 26 matches.
