Che Guevara’s 91st birth anniv today

The 91st birth anniversary of Che Guevara, Argentine Marxist revolutionary, physician, author, guerrilla leader, diplomat and military theorist, is on Friday. This great revolutionary was born on June 14, 1928, in Rosario, Argentina.
Che Guevara’s full name is ‘Ernesto Guevara de la Serna’ He was a doctor in the profession and joined as a doctor in Fidel Castro’s team. But later on, he became an imminent revolutionary.
A major figure of the Cuban Revolution, stylized visage has become a ubiquitous countercultural symbol of rebellion and global insignia in popular culture, Che Guevara always thought of the underprivileged poor helpless people of society since his childhood. His revolutionary attitude was created in young age. He believed that Latin America’s discrimination cannot be eliminated without revolution.
In 1955, Che Guevara was introduced to another revolutionary leader Fidel Castro in Mexico. Then, he included his name in the Cuban Revolutionary Party. Che Guevara has made outstanding contributions to the Cuban Revolution. The Cuban Revolution was against the Batista government. Fidel Castro was named as a doctor in the team but later he took up arms in the Cuban revolution.
Che’s name appears in the list of Time Magazine’s most influential 100 people in the 20th Century. ‘Guerrillero Heroeco’- the famous photo of Che taken by Alberto Korda has been declared as the ‘World’s Most Celebrated Photograph’.
After the arrest to Bolivian army, Che Guevara shot dead in La Higuera on October 9, 1967. Although Revolutionary Che Guevara was killed, his ideology could not be killed. Even today, billions of people around the world live with his ideals.
