A cattle trader is developing rugged building on illegally occupied railway land of Baral Bridge railway station in Bhangura, Pabna. Although this building is being constructed along the main road of the town, the railway authority is not concerned of it.

Siddiq Ali, a cattle trader of Sharatnagar Bazar, has built a solid building in the north of Baral Bridge Railway Station in Bhangura municipal town. About two decades ago, Siddiq, the Chaubari’s cattle trader in the municipal town, occupied the place. The building's foundation has already been completed. Beam and column construction work is ongoing. Tin made height fence has been given to the road to cover the construction.

Regarding this matter, Siddiq Ali said, “The place was in my possession from a long ago. So now I am making a rugged building. If railway authority wants, I will demolish the building.”

Abdul Aziz, deputy assistant officer of the Bhangura municipal land office said, “We did not know about the matter. Visiting the place, the building will be closed.”

Yunus Ali, Estate officer of the Pakshi (Western) office of the railway, said that action would be taken against the construction of the building in a quick drive. Besides, an eviction drive will also be launched in Bhangura very soon.
