West Indies has won the toss and elected to bat first against Bangladesh in the 2nd ODI of the three-match ODI series held at Mirpur Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in the capital on Friday.

Cutter master Mustafizur Rahman stormed the visitors at the beginning of the match. After the seamer attack, spinner Mehidy Hasan Miraz hit two pairs in a row. Besides, Shakib also took a wicket.

Till writing, West Indies had scored 56 runs after losing 5 wickets in 22 over.

Sunil Ambris and Kjorn Ottley came in the opening partnership, however, the pairs could not go further. Mustafiz took the wicket of Ambris (6 off 15 balls) in the 4th over.

Then two Caribbean batsmen became the prey of the spinner Miraz. He returned Kjorn Ottley (24 off 44 balls) and Joshua Da Silva (5 off 22 balls) to the pavilion.

Later, Shakib came to bowl and took the wicket of Andre McCarthy in the Carribeans’ 39 runs.

Kyle Mayers, who came to the field in the 6th position, made a run hesitation with Mayers. Then Najmul’s throw was just over the stumps and Mushfiqur whipped off the balls in a jiffy. Even a dive couldn’t save him.
