COVID-19 remedies ‘Bemsivir’ use at Corona Hospitals begins today

The Department of Health has completed preparations to reach the world's first approved generic Remdisivir made by Beximco Pharmaceuticals, at the Corona specialized Hospitals in the country, to treat world pandemic coronavirus infected patients.
On Saturday, one thousand Remdisivir will be delivered to Corona Specialized Hospitals in the country and at the same time the drugs will be used to treat patients infected with the coronavirus.
Earlier, Beximco made the world’s first generic Remedisivir given to the Ministry of Health was approved as the first drug for coronavirus treatment in the world. Beximco becomes the first company in the world to start selling the drug named 'Bemsivir'.
Sources in the Department of Health said on Friday that, one thousand Remdisiir was transferred to the Department of Drug Administration from the Beximco on Thursday. At the end of the specified process, the company started work to reach one thousand Remdisivir to Corona Specialized Hospitals.
In this regard, the Additional Director General of the Department of Health (Administration), Professor Dr. Nasima Sultana said the Department of Drug Administration and Health have been working to get the Remdisivir to the hospital since they came to the health ministry. These drugs will reach the hospital soon to treat the coronavirus infected patients.
