COVID-19 patients in India rises to 4,553 with 118 death tolls

The number of infected people by the pandemic coronavirus has climbed to 4,553 and the death toll has reached 118 In India. In the last 24 hours, more than seven hundred people have been newly infected with the virus with 32 death records, said the country’s Ministry of health on Monday.   

There are currently 4553 coronavirus cases in India with death toll stood at 118, according to Worldometer, an international survey organization that revealed information about coronavirus.    

It is learned that about 30 percent of the total infected people came to Delhi Nizamuddin’s Tabligh Jamaat last month.  

Maharashtra, a state of India, has the highest number of COVID-19 cases – there 690 people infected, 13 people died. Then Tamil Nadu where 571 people infected and Delhi where 503 people infected by the virus. 

The country’s health ministry has urged residents not to leave their homes without an emergency.

Meanwhile, India Prime Minister Narendra Modi had issued a ‘Janata Curfew’ (self-curfew) from March 22.
