COVID-19 death toll surpasses 83,000

Pandemic Coronavirus claimed at least 83,109 lives globally so far, according to Worldometer data report.

According to the website data, total 1,444,822 COVID-19 cases have been reported so far after the virus originated. Of them have been 309,113 recovered. In 1,052,600 active cases, 47, 981 are in a critical condition.

USA recorded the highest number of death cases, 1,966 on the previous day. 

Italy is at the top of the death toll chart with 17,127 death cases. Then Spain reported 14,555 and USA 12,857 death cases. But, in China 3,333 death cases have been reported so far including 2 new.

Meanwhile according to the number of the affected USA at the top of the chart with 400,549 total cases. Then Spain and Italy in 2nd and 3rd position respectively with 146,690 and 135,586 cases. On the other hand, the origin country of the virus, China has taken place in the 6th position on the list with 81,802 cases.

In Bangladesh within less than a month, 218 total infected cases have been reported according to IEDCR of them 33 cured and 20 died. In the last 24hrs 54 new COVID-19 patients have been identified in the country.
