As part of providing expert insights and expertise to CMSMEs on their various business’ challenges and growth opportunities, the Innovation, Creativity, and Entrepreneurship (ICE) Center launched the ‘CMSMEs Mentorship Program’ under the REVIVE project on Thursday.

The mentorship program will be virtual and CMSMEs will get the opportunity to interact with experts from government, industries, academicians, and other relevant stakeholders and receive their valuable insights and experiences, said a press release.

ICE Center of DU has launched its weekly CMSMEs Mentorship Program under the REVIVE Project, in partnership with UNDP Bangladesh with an aim to provide mentorship on much-needed topics like finance, governance, mental health, marketing, and supply chain.

The target is to reach out to as many CMSMEs as possible from October to December 2020, through 4 weekly sessions every week during these three months using online platforms.

The program aims to create a thriving community for the CMSMEs so the efforts of these unsung heroes do not go unnoticed.

Former Governor of Bangladesh Bank Dr. Atiur Rahman graced the occasion as chief guest while Chairperson of Small & Medium Enterprises Foundation (SMEF) Dr. Md Masudur Rahman, President of Dhaka Chamber of Commerce & Industry (DCCI) Shams Mahmud, and Chairman of Bangladesh Small & Cottage Industries Corporation (BSCIC) Md Mostaque Hassan were present as special guests. – BSS.
