Cricket Australia (CA), one of the richest cricket boards across the world, announced a new four-year sponsorship deal with Dettol.
Dettol, a manufacturer of hygiene products, is the title sponsor of Men’s One Day International and Men’s T20 International Series as well as the Men’s Support Team.
Earlier, the main sponsor of the team was Gillette and Bupa was the sponsor of the support staff. On the other hand, CA has signed an agreement with the mobile phone company Vodafone to sponsor the Test team.
Under the agreement with Dettol, the company will provide sanitary ware to about 3,500 clubs in Australia.
Commenting on the new deal, Nick Hockley, Cricket Australia Interim CEO, said, “Dettol is such a well-known and trusted brand, both in Australia and across the world, their support will give confidence about protecting the return of community and cricket this summer.”
Dettol is also happy to have signed a contract with the Australian Cricket Board. Dave Rankine, Regional director for RB Health ANZ, owner of the Dettol brand, said, “We’re excited to bring the expertise of Dettol to Cricket Australia.”
