At least five SSC examinees were injured severely in Dhamrai in Savar as a bus carrying 52 examinees was ditched in a roadside cannel this morning.

The accident took place at around 9 am on Tuesday morning in the Batulia area of ​​Kalampur-Saturia road. The bus and passengers victimized in the accident have already been rescued.

Meanwhile, three students were injured in the incident but they were sent to the examination center after first aid. The identity of the injured was not known.

Police and eyewitnesses said that on Tuesday morning, some SSC examinees with their parents on a bus from Ashulia to Kushura Abbas Ali High School center in Dhamrai. Later, when they arrived at Batulia area of ​​Kalampur-Saturia road, the bus lost control and fell into a ditch beside the road. At this time, it got stuck with a wall. It injured three examinees, a teacher and a guardian inside the bus. Later, they were rescued and given first aid.

Confirming the accident, Dhamrai Police Station SI Kamal Hossain said a police team reached the spot immediately after receiving the news. The injured were rescued with the help of locals. Besides, they have been sent to the examination centers.
